Look Keo Grip Cleats Features: The new Keo Grip Cleats are non-slip and thus more reassuring when one gets off the bike. The materials found at each end of the cleat helps to also provide a stronger interface between the cleat and the shoe sole. This is particularly appreciable when using carbon soles. The memory position is another asset of Keo cleats. This feature allows for quick cleat replacement into the exact same position that your original cleat was placed. Compatible with all the shoes on the market, the Keo standard was designed with the goal of minimizing the weight and the bulk of the cleat/pedal unit. The operational kinematics are identical to the Delta standard. Engagement and disengagement are consistent, maintaining Look's famous stability and efficiency. Material: Polyacetal and TPU Lateral adjustment: 4mm Longitudinal adjustment: 9mm Includes 6 screws of 5x11mm and 6 washers Weight: 68g Cleat Float Options: 0 degrees - Black 4.5 degrees - Grey 9 degrees - Red
Advantages: Grippy, tough, long-lasting, good spares backup Disadvantages: Poor paint, watch those pins, needs flat soled shoes
.... The fact that they are in contact with your feet doesn't help matters, but if you invest in a set of DMR's you will have to be prepared for the fact that they will look tatty very quickly. If this bothers you then I suggest you buy them in silver, which is polished rather than painted.
Mind you the fact that they look tatty quickly does make them a pretty good secondhand buy. I picked up a decent pair for £4. The only thing wrong with them was major paint rub, which they would have got in a couple of months anyhow.
The pins. Those pins that provide all that grip, will also gouge nice chunks out of your shins. I still have a 2cm scar on my shin where I got whacked by my pedal after getting out of shape on a rocky section.
Shoe Choice. The DMR's only really work with flat soled shoes like trainers, or the freestyle/BMX shoes that you...

Advantages: Comfortable, waterproof, stylish, good grip. Disadvantages: Make sure you break them in properly before you hit the golf course!
...in the tournament had gone!
So it was straight into the pro shop at the end of the round, out with the old moth eaten wallet, (all Scotsmen have moth eaten wallets!) and Euro125 later I was again the proud owner of a new pair of Footjoy Aqualites. (Great golf shoes)
The Adidas shoes were then relegated to my golfing gear graveyard (the hall cupboard) and gathered dust until about two weeks ago, when I came across them again in a periodic (and rare!) clear out. By this time my new pair of Footjoys were just about due a new set of rubber cleats (the spikes in the sole of the shoe that give you grip) so I reluctantly decided to give the Adidas shoes another chance, and to wear them for a round at my local club while my Footjoys were getting refurbished.
Surprise! No problems at all. In fact, I've now worn them for the last half a dozen rounds I...

Advantages: Look and feel great Disadvantages: None
...These gloves, unlike many others, took me at least a year for them to start wearing away which for me is great as i train and play a lot. They have great grip and it has superb protection from injures like no other!
The Nike Vapor Grip 3 are one of the best gloves that you can buy, they aren't at a ridiculous price like some other great gloves. I think Nike have hit a goldmine here. The gripping ability is excellent and they are also very comfortable even after you have worn them fo 2 and a half hours. They have a lovely soft foam palm which is not only comfrotable it also gives you better grip what you need.
I think that the Nike Vapor Grip 3 is one of the best gloves around and suit most weather conditions so they are well recommended. There are many sizes so don't worry if you have giant hands or really smal ones....
