Advantages: Great professional sounding mike for under £100 Disadvantages: Its only disadvantage is its not the wireless version for this price ;-)
from the start (even though i have seen people throwing these about on a daily basis which i wouldn't recommend even though they're built fairly tough). It is suitable for both male and female voices, so that also tells you how good the quality is! I have used this mic for karaoke as well.
~~~Performance~~~
From opening the box I was excited to try out my new SM 58 LC, I previously used a battered old peavey mike which had seen much better days, (and had been dropped on numerous occasions whilst gigging).
I use my Shure SM 58 LC for ocasional gig's and regular home recording and have never had less than 100% from it, so I would recommend these to everyone as a vocal mike. I have even used it for miking up a lead guitar amplifier and more recently a bass combo to get a more realistic live sound, it handled this with ease. If you take ...
Advantages: Cheap, simple to use and good picture Disadvantages: Basic in features, better picture on more expensive sets, poor EPG
As we allready own a Sharp Aquos LC 32 (analogue) we decided to upgrade to a 46" Digital model.
The TV is simple to instal and tune and the menu easy to follow.
The backlight feature is not so good as it is set on maximum as a factory standard. We could have done with a bit more backlight as the picture can appear dark at times.
The Electronic Program Guide is not the best in the world but suffient for use. It takes forever to browse through the week ahead as you have to move one program at a time. Most EPGs allow you to skip days.
To obtain the best results, you have to adjust all of the colours and tints to your own standards but this is easy to do and the menu is user friendly.
It is very light for its size and easy to mount on a wall fitting.
The remote is easy to use but there is an added extra of the Aquos ...
up lots of new opportunities for this camera.
Of course some people out there are going to compare this timeless classic with the new digital cameras of today. They will be compared... but the two offer two completely different styles and results of photography. You could also argue that with Photoshop and other image editing tools (maybe even on the camera!) you can achieve the same results but one of the new found joys about the LC-A is not knowing what you get until you open the pack of developed photos.
Value for money for me isn't as good as it could have been. Realistically i should have checked out eBay and invested in one at the £50 - £70 mark... but then we all do stupid things! I have used the Colorsplash flash but not really used the other items.
So to conclude... this is a fantastic and unique little camera with bags ...
