MARES Tropic 3MM Wetsuit.
I am a warm water diver and decided it was about time I invested in a full wetsuit. Being female although a fairly normal 12-14 size in clothing but obviously having curves decided to follow one of the things I learnt in my PADI Open Water course and that comfort and fit were highly important so decided I should "try before I buy" so decided buying on the internet was not an option.

Where Purchased From And Cost.
I bought this suit at LIDS (London International Dive Show) last year at a cost of £40 which I thought was a real bargain.

Why I Chose This Wetsuit.
I really wanted the ScubaPro 5mm wetsuit but on trying it on it didn't fit well under the arms and it was really difficult to get on. I tried on another wetsuit of a different make but again didn't fit very well although it was a nice girly wetsuit. In the end I reluctantly tried the Mares Tropic (as it was only 3mm) and it went on so much easier than all the others I had tried and it fitted really well.

This is a 3mm blind stitched wetsuit. It's very stylish and doesn't take up too much room in your suitcase.

Features
The glued and blindstitched seam construction, which ensures that less water gets through the seams which helps keep you warm.

Rear Zip
Tatex panels on the chest and back for quicker drying.

O ring seals on wrists and ankles ensuring less water movement and thereby increasing warmth.

I have had this wetsuit for a year now and had about 10 dives in it and it still looks like new. It's really comfortable to wear and if you want extra warmth you could pop a rash vest on underneath which I did the first time but found I was warm enough without the vest.
