MD Golf Black Hawk Combo Irons

Advantages: Trusted brand, forgiving
Disadvantages: Heavy, akward to keep clean

...I bought these to replace my Great White which use to be my Dad's. I wanted a good solid club that I could keep for few years and that would improve my game but not so much that was relying on the clubs and not my own technique. I had seen these in my local pro shop and I liked the way they looked as they are oversized and that gives me confidence. Other clubs that I was interested in were the Taylor Made RAC and MacGregor. The major deciding factor in my choosing of the Nike were the price, they were a lot cheaper then the Taylor Mades and looked more durable than the MacGregor. I was able to try out a 6 iron at my local range and instantly the difference was obvious. Advantages: Very very long

...I tried a Nike Golf Nike One Black Golf Ball in a match play knockout yesterday, I play off 21 and my opponant was off 12 so granted i did have a few shot in hand. I have never used a Nike one black (the ball is white however) but was very impressed with the result. I found the ball which has a thin urethene cover and a enanced 408 dimples very long to hit, Longer than my usual PTS Solo golf balls. I was very impressed with the length and how straight it flew in the air. Off the tee I only missed two fairways but the length was very impressive. I won my game 3 and 2 and to be honest I didn't really need the shots. Really though i found the combination of the balls and my Ping G2 driver excellent. on the greens my ball did truely roll further and felt very nice to hit. Advantages: Cheap,easy to use and well made

...OK, so by now you should know my new passion is golf. Golf is a game I always imagined old men playing with nothing better to do than while away their retirement coffers on expensive sets of clubs. Well, not true. In fact, players like Sergio Garcia and Tiger woods have done a lot to popularise it with the younger set. When im at my local driving range, it always shocks me as to how many children are playing.
