Advantages: New songs worth listening to from STYX
Disadvantages: Well, the band's previous albums are better

The STYX With New Songs I purchased this STYX Brand New World about a year ago thinking I would be hearing new songs from STYX that still have the band's classic style. Then I realized that I was listening to different styles of songs from the band. I expected STYX to come up with a better album than the band's previous hit albums since the members just got reunited and they have rested for years after the split-up. This album may not be great but it is good. The Dirt

Advantages: well designed and written
Disadvantages: none

Before reading this book I read Nikki Sixx - Heroin Diaries (got it cheap and thought I'd give it a go). Although I like Motley Crue, I wouldn't say I'm a huge fan, but I enjoyed Nikki's book so when I saw 'The Dirt' I thought I'd give it a go. 'The Dirt' certainly doesn't disappoint and the title is certainly an accurate reflection of the content! It's an autobiography of the band and its members, written by them with the help of Neil Strauss. One thing I particularly enjoyed about the book is that it's written from the points of view of each member, including the brief membership of John Corabi, as well as a few other people connected to Motley Crue. How I Met Your Mum!

Advantages: Interesting new idea for a show, funny, lighthearted

I have only just recently started watching this show, despite the fact it was released in 2005. E4 must have decided to re-run the first series again so they've been advertising quite a lot lately. Each episode is half an hour long, and is set in 2030, beginning with two teenagers sitting on a sofa, and the voiceover of a middle-aged sounding man who is their father explaining, in short terms, 'How I Met Your Mother'. This introduction lasts about a minute, until it goes into a flashback and we see this father, but in modern day times, before he ever had children. The protagonist of the show is Ted, who is the voiceover/father guy at the beginning. The show mainly focuses on his life... his relationships, his social activities, and his friends.
