Disadvantages: Not always good fit with straps.

...I ride nearly every day and have several numnahs and saddle cloths. I have three horses so they need one each and it is nice to have one for best and a spare when one needs washing. OK, so I don`t have 9 but I have more than 3. They all have a polypad each as they are my favourite. It is nice to have a different one though so I tend to use polypads on long rides but my thoroughbred mare has a Cottage Craft Comfort Saddle Cloth for daily hacking. Why use a numnah? * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * A saddle that fits correctly should not, theoretically need a numnah. However, there are veryfew horses that are happy being ridden without a numnah. If you imagine the saddle being placed on the back, the girth being done up tighty and then a rider sitting on the saddle, a numnah would be greatly appreciated by the horse... Read review

Disadvantages: A bit slippy on my low-withered pony, hard to fit to her shape

In use I found the saddle to be very comfortable for me, the rider. It is also extremely easy to care for - no saddle soap required, just some water and a stiff brush and it comes up like new. If you really wanted to, you could hose it down without damaging it. It is light weight, making it easy to handle, and it does a really good job of imitating leather, so it looks great too. All the stitching is high quality as are the materials. I found it did pick up hairs easily, but they were simple to get rid of with a soft brush. A few years ago when I bought yet another horse I decided as he was a youngster I would opt for this saddle purely because as he grew, he toned up, muscles were formed properly I would be able to adjust it accordingly! Well I have now had him 2 years and I still ride him in this saddle! Its so comfortable its a dream to ride in and it fits in perfectly.
