Advantages: looks good at address, large sweet spot Disadvantages: new larger and more advanced cluds available
...Although surpassed by bigger, and more complex drivers this one can be picked up as a bargain in some places. It does not have any moveable weights or excitments of that sort but it does have a very forgiving nature and launches the ball on a good trajectory. I have the 10.5 degree version and found it much easier to hit than the Callaway driver I had before The club head looks good at address, a classic look compared to some of today's monsters and the sound when you hit it is clean and loud but not a real noise. No doubt there are bigger more advanced clubs out there now but this is a quality, no nonsense product and represents good value for the discount prices now available....

Advantages: CLASS AND STYLE AND IT HITS THE BALL A BLOODY LONG WAY Disadvantages: A HEFTY INVESTMENT AT 300 POUNDS
...THE YEAR 2002 HAS BEEN WITHOUT QUESTION THE YEAR OF THE TIGER, IN GOLF THE TIGER WOODS PHENOMENON HAS REACHED EPIDEMIC LEVELS. THE NIKE 350CC BETA TITANIUM DRIVER ENDORSED BY TIGER IS RAPIDLY BECOMING A MAJOR FORCE ON BOTH THE US AND EUROPEAN TOUR WITH A 1/8TH SHARE OF ALL DRIVERS USED ! I PURCHASED A NEW DRIVER AFTER YEARS PLAYING WITH ANOTHER LEADING BRAND WITH GREAT SUCCESS (my handicap is 7)BUT THE LURE OF NIKES GLOSSY MARKETING CAMPAIGN AND THE FACT THAT TIGER HIMSELF USES THIS DRIVER GRADUALLY WORE ME DOWN AND SEVEN MONTHS AGO I TOOK THE PLUNGE AND BOUGHT ONE.
THE DRIVER COST £299.00 FROM A ONLINE GOLF STORE AND AS IT ARRIVED I OPENED IT AND I WAS AMAZED TRULY AMAZED. THIS DRIVER WHILST NOT REALLY COVENTIONAL IN TERMS OF DESIGN AND COLOUR IS BEAUTIFUL AND HAS A CHARM ALL OF ITS OWN. I HAVE USED THIS CLUB FOR SEVEN MONTHS AND AFTER...

Advantages: Trusted brand, forgiving Disadvantages: Heavy, akward to keep clean
...I bought these to replace my Great White which use to be my Dad's. I wanted a good solid club that I could keep for few years and that would improve my game but not so much that was relying on the clubs and not my own technique. I had seen these in my local pro shop and I liked the way they looked as they are oversized and that gives me confidence.
Other clubs that I was interested in were the Taylor Made RAC and MacGregor. The major deciding factor in my choosing of the Nike were the price, they were a lot cheaper then the Taylor Mades and looked more durable than the MacGregor.
I was able to try out a 6 iron at my local range and instantly the difference was obvious. Maybe it's to do with the advances in club technology but they just gave a sweeter shot than my Great White's did. I was able to get the ball up higher straight away...

I saw this shaver on special offer in my local Comet for only £133 (Argos were selling it at £250 so the saving was over £100!) so I decided to take the plunge and buy one after waiting so long.
Unpacking the shaver is an adventure in itself, as the... more
This was a great bargin I picked up for my fiance, at half the retail price. I'm not sure that we would be willing to pay near on £100 for this shaver though. It is very good in that you only need to go over an area a couple of times and it is done,... more
