I saw a maglite torch with a friend who had come to my farm. I knew that I had to have one of my own. I bought the 3D in Pune and am very happy and satisfied with its performance.. Its a good buy and extremely useful on long treks or night time camping and adventure apart from general utility tasks. It has a powerful beam and good focus with an awesome range. We also use it sometimes to pinpoint the location of a star or constellation. In my opinion, the money spent on buying the product initially is easily offset by the many happy hours of useful service this torch gives us. One could refer to buying a cheaper torch by quoting the famous "Being penny wise and Pound foolish." It certainly is a bright idea to possess..
