Advantages: Light weight, durable well made tyres Disadvantages: A little pricey
..., and the tread pattern is very similar to the Comp 24. They have Michelin's Silica Compound which helps decrease rolling resistance, and also have a 127 Tpi (threads per inch) cord casing that is found on all other Michelin top of the range tyres.
Even though these are sized at 26 x 2.2 (52 x 559), they are a smaller in width than the 2.2 size you would find on the Michelin DH tyres (54 x 559). The size of these is more comparable to a set of Maxxis 2.1 XC tyres.
Installation was pretty straight forward, with the only serious effort needed when mounting the tyre to my rims, as like other Michelin tyres, the beading can be a tight fit when put on for the first time.
My first impressions on using them were that they felt incredibly grippy. They are stable when cornering hard, and braking heavily. If you choose to use the directional tread pattern...

Advantages: The pole comes with a good spares package. Disadvantages: Heavy and slightly floppy at full length.
...The 12.5 metre Shimano Aero Match Pole.
This pole has been out for quite a while now, and it was rolled on the famed 12.5 metre ex mandrel.
This pole is a good all rounder, that has a good spares package. Mine came with three spare top three's, and a match top three with the pole. Giving you four top three's in total. of which two were power tops and two were match tops.
The two match tops have a elastic rating of 1-8
The power tops have a elastic rating of 8-16, of which I only use the 10-12 through all three sections.
As with all midd price range poles, they are heavy at full length, and slightly floppy. This pole is no different, but I have found that I can still use it with ease at full length.
If you take one section off and use it at eleven metres, I find it a dream pole which is light, stiff and extremely responsive. I have...

Advantages: has long life span from 6 months to approx 4 years Disadvantages: not machine washable
...sturdy, clear plastic coating which is easy to keep clean. The zip opening has a long (2 inch) tab to aid opening and it opens about 40%. Turning the rucksack over, it is just like looking at a mini, good quality rucksack: slightly padded shoulder straps with adjustable waistband that clips together. There is a reinforced strip of webbing down the middle of the back with a small metal loop attached at the top. Inside the bag you will find the reigns. This comes as a long 1 inch wide strip of sturdy webbing and is about a metre long. At one end is a clip to attach to the rucksack and at the other is a padded loop for the parent to hold.
~~~Caring for your Daysack~~~
The two ways to clean it is to either brush with a soft brush or use a damp cloth and mild liquid soap. It is not machine washable. LittleLife recommend that you do...
When I first bought this product I did judge the book by the cover. I presumed that because they looked modern in design and listed good features on the box, such as the answer phone, and memory, that it would be a good choice. However after using the... more
