had the normal 360 for an year and then traded it in for the elite. i loved the black colour and the idea of the bigger hard drive.
with standard white machine there was the curse of the "ring of death" which i never got with the white machine, but did get it with first elite machine and was told buy guys in game that this was sorted for the elite!
well got it all sorted and second machine i have no problems with at all and its been running for year and a half.
elite came with an hdmi port and i got a kinda of cheap hd television from argos, but the picture quality was amazing, and i am sure with better hd television the xbox would stand out even better.
in box you get xbox elite, one black wireless controller, hdmi cable and also hd normal cable with optical cable for sound.
as to date there is tons of amazing games out ...

Welcome to the mother of all games consoles... the Xbox 360 Elite.
With a massive 120Gb harddrive I can store all the videos,demos and game saves that my heart desires. So far I have only filled up 80Gb!
The console comes in a sleek black finish and looks great next to my new widescreen TV, everyone notices it when they come round and they always say how nice it looks 'for a games console'.
The chrome disk tray really stands out against the black and looks great.
The console itself has so many games to choose from theres something for everyone, with exclusive titles such as Halo everyone should own one.
Now the console does have its drawbacks, all 360's are prone to getting the RROD (red rings of death), this is an overheating problem which results in the 360 becoming unplayable; I would recommend positioning the console ...
hiya,, i own a xbox 360 elite and i think it is absolutely brilliant,, the graphics are breathtaking, the xbox itself is easy to use it has the 120 gb hard drive on the elite ideal if you save a lot of songs,etc, if you are buying the xbox i reccomend that you go on xbox live you can buy old arcade classics off there like golden axe and streets of rage, sonic,you can rent films off there too, and experience online gameplay against friends or strangers, most games have an easy to use multiplayer experience so if you like playing against your friends this is the console for you . you can add your friends on there very easy you just need there gamer tag and type it in , the xbox useses a point system to buy stuff from there you can buy theese from certain retailers like asda or blockbuster etc ...
