Advantages: Great for working on your chest, arms and legs. Disadvantages: I cant really work on any other part of your body
I started weight lifting 3 years ago. I originally never worked on my chest because i thought i didnt need. Oh my God i was proven wrong. Realising i have big arms and shoulders and no chest just made me feel really silly. So i put my set of Dumbells down and started using the weights bench.
At first i couldnt lift much, on average i could lift 50kg. After using the bench for a while i started feeling the burn in my chest that i was supposed to and eventually i could increase the weight time after time.
Now my chest is alot bigger and i dont feel stupid anymore for having one part of my body bigger than the rest.
This bench is also good for working on your arms as you can do curls aswell. You can even work on your legs.
A bench like this and a set of Dumbells is all you need for your body building life style.
Just remember to ...
Every year at half term we take the wooden garden furniture in , so last week into the conservatory went the garden bench. It will stay here until we get the summer here. June time we take our picnic bench /table out of hibernation from the conservatory. We position it on the patio and celebrate the summer by sitting on it while consuming a cup of tea.
We have a picnic table that converts to a garden bench, or the other way round. It is a wooden one just like the picture.
We have owned this bench for about 15 years now. The bench / table that we have is still in good order. The wood may be a looking a little older. I expect it will eventually decay. I think it is made of pine wood.
This picnic table looks like ones you get in pub gardens although the ones in pubs do not fold up into a bench.
The simple mechanism ...
Advantages: stable and versatile....did I mention stable (Its excellent) Disadvantages: A bit costly, the weights you will need are expensive.
the whole bench is going to topple over or collapse! This bench gives you that piece of mind.
There are a couple of downsides. The bench is quite expensive at £240ish pounds. You need to factor in that you will need to be buying olympic sized bars and weights to fit on the bench. These are quite expensive too, with the bars costing anything upto £30 to£50 and the weights roughly being £1 per kg (therefore £20 for a 20kg stack).
The other downside is the instructions. They, for me atleast were not the easiest to follow. Make sure you have a lot of patience and a good tool kit (the spanner they provide was designed by a spanner....its useless!
That said I would definitely recommend this product 8 out of 10
Anyway I hope this helps,
Kind Regards,
