Advantages: Great for working on your chest, arms and legs. Disadvantages: I cant really work on any other part of your body
I started weight lifting 3 years ago. I originally never worked on my chest because i thought i didnt need. Oh my God i was proven wrong. Realising i have big arms and shoulders and no chest just made me feel really silly. So i put my set of Dumbells down and started using the weightsbench.
At first i couldnt lift much, on average i could lift 50kg. After using the bench for a while i started feeling the burn in my chest that i was supposed to and eventually i could increase the weight time after time.
Now my chest is alot bigger and i dont feel stupid anymore for having one part of my body bigger than the rest.
This bench is also good for working on your arms as you can do curls aswell. You can even work on your legs.
A bench like this and a set of Dumbells is all you need for your body building life style.
Just remember to ...
Advantages: stable and versatile....did I mention stable (Its excellent) Disadvantages: A bit costly, the weights you will need are expensive.
This is the best bench out there for the money, offering versality of exercise but being one of the sturdiest benches I have used.

However with the introduction of the decline, it provides the opportunity to do decline presses and/or decline butterfly's (bench pressing on the decline) This is particularly useful to be able to develope the muscles in the lower pectorial's (in the chest ...
Advantages: easy to assemble Disadvantages: the design could be improved
During my gap year from sixth form to university I got a job as a lifeguard at the local sports centre and as a consequence spent a lot of time in the gym. I puchased a york 6605 weightsbench so I could workout at home instead of travelling to and from the gym on my days off. It was reasonably straightforward to assemble and at first I was delighted with it. However, after using it a few times I began to notice the design faults. Firstly, when doing leg curls, especially quadricep raises it was hurting my shins, I don't think it was designed with tall people in mind (im 6ft 1'). Because of this I had to place something on the seat to elevate my vertical position. The second problem was the bench press. This was fine when performing flat or decline bench presses, but when performing incline ones it is very hard to lift the weights off ...
