I dont normally use Masta rugs on my horses but after going on the net and looking in catalogues I was really impressed with this rug so I decided to buy one for my one horse who I find it difficult to fit rugs. The first this that attracted me to this rug was the high shoulder gussets which gives a bit more freedom. Once the rug was on him was great a real good fit, it wasnt too baggy or right at the front and it was really deep on him which is exactly what I wanted from a heavy weight rug. Regal Masta Stable Rug great fitting for the larger horse

Advantages: Superb fitting, high neck, deep pattern
Disadvantages: none found yet

I have one of the above rugs it is in my opinion a fantastic fitting rug for the larger boned horse. Masta rugs have the deep pattern. which I think suits the larger horse The high neck on this rug is good and I find helps alleviate rug rubs I have had trouble in the past with rugs slipping as they have not been deep enough but not with this fits like a glove on my big girl. I have found this rug to be hard wearing and my horse is not careful with her rugs, lesser rugs have ended up in tatters It comes up like new when cleaned, what more could I ask for.. All in all in my opinion a rug that is worth every penny I spent on it. ...

Review of Masta Regal Light Stable Rug

Rambo Supreme turnout rug

Advantages: good fit; warm
Disadvantages: my rug was faulty; poor customer service.

Unfortunately, on the Rambo Supreme I bought there was a fault in the manufacture of it and the neck cover kept detaching and falling off. I contacted Horseware several times, but they didn't respond at all. I eventually had to go to the Irish version of Trading Standards and suggest legal action before I got a response. Horseware then declined to replace the faulty rug and eventually 'repaired' the original one that had never been right from the start, which wasn't what I wanted. The whole thing took almost a year to resolve, and I had to buy another rug/neck cover for my pony in the meantime. Horseware didn't appear to me to be apologetic or concerned about the inconvenience or expense I'd been caused. I was very disappointed that such an expensive rug had been faulty when I bought it,, and even more disappointed that the level ...
