I dont normally use Masta rugs on my horses but after going on the net and looking in catalogues I was really impressed with this rug so I decided to buy one for my one horse who I find it difficult to fit rugs. The first this that attracted me to this rug was the high shoulder gussets which gives a bit more freedom. Once the rug was on him was great a real good fit, it wasnt too baggy or right at the front and it was really deep on him which is exactly what I wanted from a heavy weight rug. Masta Deluxe Turnout Rug - Double ripstop, waterproof and breathable 600 denier polyester. Tri-Vent shoulder action gussets, rear darts, self righting pattern with no back seam. Filled with a heavyweight 12oz/340g thermal insulating filling and lined with nylon. Easy front fastening with buckles and trigger clips. Removable rear leg straps, D-rings for attachment of separate neck-cover R686, drip strip, shaped tail flap and surcingle slots. I used this rug last winter and Ive already had it washed and re-proofed for next winter and the rug came up so well it was impressive! It fits really well on my horse and Im so pleased with it as it didnt slip on him and didnt really rub his shoulders. You have to get the neck attachment seperately which is the only downfall as it would be nice if the neck was intergrated but the fact that this rug really fitted my horse and kept him dry was the main thing.
