Advantages: Small portable does what it say on the tin Disadvantages: Feet stands could be slip resistant.
...I have recently purchased one of these LTT. It works. It depends on what you pay as to whether you think it is work the money. I paid £29.99 delivered. It can be got for £20 special offer at the moment inc delivery. You have to get used to it as with all exercisers but if you persevere you will benefit from this machine. It is well made. The computer is not the best but works. If you can understand it you are better than me. If you have bad knees do not use this or any machine like it. I find it works OK and you get cardio exercise and can sweat. For £30 or less give it a go.

Advantages: Easy to put on, durable, cheaper in the long run than shoes Disadvantages: Expensive one off cost, had to order mine from Arizona so had to wait a few weeks
...I decided to buy a pair of the new style Old macs G2 boots for my horse as he was finding it difficult having shoes on his hind feet due to arthritis (He's 31). The old style boots werent the right shape for his feet so I forked out £101 on the G2 boots direct from Easy Care Inc. in Arizona as no one in the UK did them.
The weigh just over 1lb each which is great for Pegasus' arthritis and great for me carting them around! They are easy to slip on and I dont need to lift his feet too high to be able to put them on, i can do it with his foot inches from the floor. They last roughly 8 shoeings (Aprox £480 for 8 full sets) so money wise they are great value. Obviously if you dont use them often they last much longer, but you do need to keep their hooves trimmed and file them down if there are any rough edges which could damage the boot...

...in love with the feel of the single gear and the simplicity of it all. It even LOOKS better than a bike festooned with gears. And then the frame gave out on me, but with my mind decided I set about building up a fixed wheel bike of my own.
The Fixie Inc Peacemaker frame comes from Germany, designed by a couple of cycle couriers over there. At the time it was available for £295 (frame and lovely chromed forks) from online retailer 'hubjub', but Mosquito Bikes is now the official retailer in the UK - the new version of the frame, however, now comes in at £415. A few details have changed, but giving the new bike the once over at the Cycle Show I can't see that much is different from the frame I bought.
Mosquito will also supply a completely built Peacemaker for £960.
I built mine up with Sugino chainset (a lovely red BMX chainring for 99p from...
