I have a Claude butler mountain bike I use on a regular basis on road for biking to work and the occasional off road stint.
The tyres a re durable I have had mine for at least 4 months and they are as good as new, they are original tyre design with an Advanced tread design.
The tyre is Ideally suited for dual-suspension cross-country bikes but as I said I have them for my bike, which has no suspension, and they are good.
The tyre is a Silicium Inside Silicium is a natural elastomer modified and reinforced with silica, this reduces the roll when on the streets and impressive mud-shedding capability on the mud.
The tyre has good durability in the duel role and when reading the instructions you find Silicium is used in both red and black tread compounds and are the only colurs you can get, I have black a bit of a traditionalist.
The tyres were £ 34.95 from my local bike shop but I know these can be purchased in Halfords.
The size 2.2 and at 40 psi (which is quite hard) but can be lessened for the mud, with bulky tread is quite easy to fit to the wheel, the tyres are slightly expensive in my view with many other options around but they were worth a try I may not spend this much again.
