I used this on the rear of my mountain bike a few years ago. Not the greatest, grip is ok however as is puncture resistance.
Very heavy tyre however, and the rolling resistance is high, giving a tyre that feels slow and heavy to get going - and slugish to climb.
On singletrack it is limited by this too, though the performance does pick up when it is going downhill.
Problem is that unless you have an uplift, you are so worn out by dragging the extra weight around the ride that you can't apprciate it on the downhill bits!
To be honest, there are far better tyres out there, which are lighter AND grippier. Kendas & Contis would fit into this catagory.
How helpful would this review be to a person making a buying decision? Rating guidelines
Sorry for the low rating, but I think that your Review needs a lot more information and detail to justify a higher rating. Don’t worry about the low rating most people get low ratings at first, its’ just a case of getting to know what to include. It helps if you write every Review as if you’re writing for someone who has virtually no knowledge of what you’re reviewing, in clear non technical language. You might find it helpful if you read and rate some other peoples’ reviews (especially those that have been rated VH or E). It might give you an idea of the sort of things you need to include. If I can be of any help or if you decide to add to or edit your review please feel free to put a message in my gb, I’ll be happy to re-read and re-rate. Rich
