The Higgs Bossons are odd to say the least, but they definitely get the job done. The Soviet Union was odd, but also got the job done. They stayed a Super Power for the better part of the 20th century through methods not everyone understands. The Higgs Bosson, true to form, grind very well, but not everyone understands exactly how. The design of the wheel is closer to an octagon than a wheel. I was expecting to stick, or not be able to come off of a grind smooth; I was wrong. I allowed Andrew Buist to skate the wheels for a while to give a wider variety of opinions towards the wheels. Andrew said, "The wheels are like an extension of the frame," that should give you an idea of how well these wheels were sliding and performing for us.

The Higgs Bosons allow skaters to get creative with their grinding, or should I say more creative with their grinding. Wax a speed bump and try to grind the hell out of it. Its doable; grind extremely thick rails, cuz you can; grind railroad tracks (but not if a train is coming, don't put yourself into any type of danger), I could go on forever. Just get out there and be creative.

If you have not skated anti-rocker in a while, you will definitely find a difference in your skating. Turns will not be as controlled, and you most likely will not be able to skate quite as fast. Get good outside wheels with a lot of rebound so gaps are not as hard on your feet. Each skater is different, and these wheels will not be for everyone. If you're looking for new objects and ways to grind you will most likely love these wheels; if you like speed while skating, and do a lot of gaps, you might want to stick with a flat set up: to each their own. Higgs Bossons are not for everyone, just as the Soviet Union was not for everyone: but both do the job and do it well (the Soviet Union didn't get the job done well, but a lot better than what it is like now).
