Advantages: Nice when planing. Disadvantages: Nose breaks off too easily & BIC customer relations are very poor.
...the same nose design !
The moral of the story is : the Techno 273 is an OK board, but only buy one if you are sure the end of your boom will never hit the nose. My advise - try one of StarBoards windsurfer boards (the "GO" is excellent) instead.

Update : Sept 2001
After breaking the nose for the fourth time I finally had enough and part exchanged the techno in for a Mistral Flow which is a much better board - look out for my review on it.

Advantages: Tough, reactive, rigid, looks the dogs Disadvantages: a bit heavy, can be stiff before being worn in
...First glance:
At first glance these fork's definetly look very solid, sanctions are very shiny and the lower slider is a matte black which looks like a very thick finish, it is infact very tough to scratch too. The crown is pretty shiny and smudges easily, the finish on this isn't as thick as the slider and with a front brake the cable can rub against it and leave a mark.

Advantages: comfort, touch, classic look Disadvantages: price, having to clean them!

I owned boots by nearly every manufacturer in my footballing life and having size 11 feet makes a bit of difference when it comes to selecting them. Adidas seem to be the best for people with big feet.
I thought I'd treat myself to a pair of world cups and am really glad that I did. They are so comfortable and are really well made. The only down side is having to clean them but if your any good a YT lad will do that for you! (I'm not by the way)
The classic styling is a big draw too. Whenever you’re playing football and you see someone in a pair of fancy boots, your natural reaction is to kick them all over the park. That’s the good thing about these boots...

I bought a DCU-11 off eBay a few weeks ago. I can safely say I'm not happy!
Why? Well, the cable has huge compatibility issues and I seem to be no the only one having problems with it! The cable itself is compatible with all Windows operating systems... more
