Advantages: Cheap....thats about it Disadvantages: Mishapen easily, nothing outstanding about it, too hard (no cushion)
I have used a Mitre Tactic on many occasions now on all the surfaces (blaise, astro turf and grass) and I have always been underwhelmed by its performance.
My old school got them in at dirt cheap prices (about £1.73 per ball when averaged out) and used them on our blaise pitches. This really was a nightmare as getting smacked on the thigh with one of these balls on a chilly december morning is never going to be an enjoyable experience.

It also won't fly very far and if the wind takes hold of it, it could go anywhere.
With this said, it is quite a solid ball if just being used for perhaps passing drills or warm ups. It is by no stretch of the imagination anywhere near the standard of a match ball even for low level football but even still, i would recommend it as a ball to buy in bulk and use ...
