I have used this ball on pretty much all surfaces - from astro turf to indoor to normal grass and it seems to fair just as well in all of them. The outer part of the ball is extremely tough and a few misplaced shots into nearby bushes seem to have had no effect. I have even picked thorns out of it but the tough exterior has prevented these having ... ...low maintenance in terms of how often you actually have to pump it up anyway.
The ball is a fairly top of the market one, costing around £40 in most shops now. This is because of the top quality though - it is officially tested for match conditions so you can be certain that you are using the best like the best do! This high visibility version of the most popular matchball ever comes in a choice of different colours white, yellow etc. It comproses of non woven PU material which is definitely tough enough for use on most natural and artificial surfaces. Having said this though, after a few weeks training with the ball it is starting to wear slightly around the seams. The cost is around £40-50 and for this price, I expected the ball to hold up through months ... ...lively performance in the air - similar to the Premiership balls of today. It has been professionally tested and rated as OK for use at match and training levels. It seems to be a popular ball for all ages as it is tough enough to be played by infants up to adults.
