This Mitre X-Treme Football is relatively new to the ball market and brings with it a revolutionary high-performance level that is aimed mainly at everday training use. It is also suited to all weathers and the price of this ball does not reflect this - good all weather balls (like this ball) usually sell for over £10 but you can pick this up for under £9 online. The Mitre X-Treme Football has been developed for use on both natural and artificial turf and for this reason is is ideal for high school use (and indeed primary and infant use (as the ball comes in sizes 3,4 and 5)).
Technical features of the ball include a woven back 100% PU and this enables the ball to maintain it's power and performance even in the most extreme conditions. It does tend to swerve esxtremely, especially in windy conditions but this is a feature that most Premiership balls now possess so it cannot be considered a downside. It has 18 panels.
PU training ball with improved softer feel. Suitable for use on natural and astro pitches in all weather conditions. Perfect ball for academy, educational and club training. Also useful for senior club use where the ball is used daily. Retains performance and response even in cold weather.
To sum up, the X-treme is ideal for clubs and schools on any surfaces where the ball is in use every day.
