The Mizuno MP-001 series of fairway woods are available in a wide range of lofts, with a variety of shaft flexes. Due to being released a few years ago, they are now extremely good value and can be picked up for around £50/£70 (steel/graphite) new and prices are coming down all the time. They are very good looking with a sleek design and look good over the ball. With a simple arrow alignment aid and a compact head these are better suited for the better-player who can guarentee a good strike. Even so, they are very forgiving compared to other low-handicapper woods and hit the ball a long way. In my opinion they are just as good as any other club out and are un-matched for value. For any decent golfer these are a good adition to the golf bag, and the 7-wood in particular is a lovely golf club. If you like to shape the ball it is also easy with these woods and the flight is easy to manipulate.
