Disadvantages: Tyres are poor in mud!

...I have owned a Tyax Elite for about a year, the bike is a great road bike and entry on level off roader. This MTB would be perfect for the summer rider that uses mainly pre-set routes which are mainly hard packed. The Acera gears are made by Shimano, although not high spec do shift up and down cleanly and are reliable if lubricated. The frame is stiff and gives the ride a good feel but is heavy! The rest of the bike is tuned quite well and handles almost everything you might throw at it, the only real weak point might be the front forks which have jammed after repetitive compressions, any one thinking of buying one should do so with confidence, but after a while of riding you might want to up grade the forks as the last think you want is a front shock that doesn't absorb bumps. ...The Nike Kraken Elite Pro gloves are ok even though they were a good pair of gloves. The only problem with them is that the foam on the fingers tended to wear away quite fast than and that sometimes you could see your hands. They are good for training but i wouldnt always rely on them. You can feel the ball very well with these gloves but once the foam has gone they are useless.They have got holes in the side of them like most gloves do but these might as well as been a picture or not there at all. They aren't very good value for money as they are noramlly about 40 pounds but you could get a better pair of gloves for the money.I would'nt say you should buy these and to keep looking.... ...this here is the mongoose rogue bmx. now where do i start i have one off these and they are exellent bikes and as cheap as they are thats even better. they have a full cro-mo frame and fork cro-mo handle bars and loads of added extra's like tough double walled wheels, 36 - 13 tooth gearing, cassete hub and the newer models come with colour coded grips and pedals. it comes in a range of colours (black and red) lol.. one off the great things about this bike though has to be if you are a bmx enthusiast you can go out and buy new parts for it like stronger wheels lighter forks and things like that. i garuntee you that you will have loads of fun with this bike and hours off enjoyment....
