Mosiguard is a midge / insect repellent, the one i bought is made from all natural ingredients, I thought this would be a benefit as its nice to know what you are applying to your skin hasn't been made in a chemists dream.

I normally use Jungle formula extra strenght as bugs of all shapes and size see me as an all you can eat buffet and it normally ... ...Sutherland in Scotland a few times a year, so i am used to the clouds of bugs.
I bought this as i could not get any jungle formula, thinking they would both be the same. I was very wrong.
I applyed it and it has the nasty citronella smell asoicated with these products, got to my first cloud of mosi's and came out covered in bites, decided to re apply some, but it made no difference, I was dinner.

Luckily i found an old jungle formula wipe in the bottm of my bag and it saved the day.
In the past i have used bog mertyl pulled literally out of a bog and it was far more sucessful. save you money and use natures bounty
There are no plus points to buying this at all. a total waste of money.

I brought this, whilst visiting relatives in Italy, they live near farm land, in the North, and the whole place was alive with every creepy crawling and flying insect you can think of, and all of them seemed to see me as their sworn enemy.
After being bit several thousand times, and scratched myself raw, I thought it was time to try and fight back, so I brought some blue smoking pads that you plug in a night time, which didn't work and some repellent, that just seemed to attract the Mosquito's.
I went to the towns Chemist, and after being told the same thing that every Bloomin Italian seemed to say ("They were after my Sweet Blood") the lady offered me a bottle of Mosigaurd Spray, before I go any further you will also need to buy the Mosigaurd Stick, as well to cover your face, neck and delicate parts ...

Today I am going to write about Mosi-guard Natural. I believe there are two to three types of mosi-guard. There's the spray, cream and wipes. Here, I am going to write about the lotion/cream version.
It is in the form of a 100 ml tube. From what I read, it is supposed to repel mosquitoes from me. It is useful for outdoor activities during the warmer temperatures. Especially during the warmer seasons (like now for example), the mosquitoes are out in force creating havoc to my enjoyment of nature.
The cream works as an insect repellent. The difference between a personal insect repellent and those we used in our homes and gardens is that the personal one is less harmful because it contains less dangerous chemicals. I am not saying it is no longer harmful, but to a lesser extent.
One has to apply the cream to exposed areas ...
