Advantages: good spec
Disadvantages: tyres

This bike has a really good spec, XT rear mech excellent proformer the only thing that lets it down is the tyres they are a bit prone to punctures when used on road and are really only for off road use. i think that the forks are a bit on the heavy side but still work grate. for the price range would be hard to beat this spec. in my opinion the bike rides really well on cross country trails and is vary smooth and well balanced. i have used my bike ...

Advantages: exelent value for money, very strong can take some abuse
Disadvantages: the overall bike is quite heavy, and has bad saddle

I bought the 2005 model Fire Mountain in the beginning of last year. I rode it XC for a good 3 months after purchase. Absolutely Fabulous

Advantages: Great ride
Disadvantages: Cut corners on some componentry

From the first moment you step astride this bike you will want one . Althogh the frame is a little on the thin side it has that typical cromoly feel to it .
