A smooth ride
Advantages: Easy to ride and affordable Disadvantages: None that I can think of
...very comfortable on was the Apollo Fs.26 17" full suspension for ladies. This bicycle felt really nice in particular. .
Ordering it was easy and simple. I was told I can get the bicycle ready assembled the next day which I decided to come and pick it up myself.
The next day I came to pick it up. My bicycle was already assembled and the lovely staff helped us get it down the stairs.
Learning to ride at 26 years
First I have to say that there ... ...to learn the hard way.
Well now I had my bicycle and I had to learn on how to ride it so I went down my local park where there is are the most amazing cycling paths ever. For anyone that learns to ride a bicycle I want to say that is the most easy thing ever. It took me an hour and a half to learn the balance in order to ride on my own. I learn by holding on my husband, he was walking sideways while I was pedalling, before I knew it I was doing ...

A cheap bike
Advantages: Price Disadvantages: Cheap components
I bought the 2008 version of this exact bike from Halfords. Everything on this bike is the same apart from the paintwork. I had a bad accident on my 'Apollo XC 26'. I was riding down a mild hill and my back wheel locked due to the cheap and flimsy V-brake. I went straight over the handlebars and shattered my collar bone. Also the chain was coming of practically every time I rode it. In my opinion the bike is comprised of cheap components, as it's ...

Apollo Mayhem
Advantages: Nice to ride, Comfortale, affordable, easy to maintain and built like a tank. Disadvantages: Rusts quickley and is Very Heavy.
I have a 1989 Apollo Mayhem MKI which is the original, they made them up until 2002. If you want a hardcore off road bike the this is not for you, as it would shake it's self to pieces. However as a 21 speed road bike it is good. It has a smooth ride, a nice driving position, a nice set of gears (shimano 21 speed grip shifts) which seem to change with out a problem. The Promax V style brakes can stop a bus, They are very good brakes and they do stop ... ...basic bike to maintain. You can pick up a second hand Apollo Mayhem form £3 to £25. Depending on the condition and age.
For a basic bike it is good value for money and won't break easily. It is built like a tank. And rides like a Ford Granada. ...

A good entry level dirt jump bike.
Advantages: Cheap, sturdy Disadvantages: Poor gearing, unresponsive handling
My friend brought this bike a few months back and has kindly allowed me to review it. First off, its a budget dirt jump bike, so you get what you pay for. The gearing leaves a bit to be desired, and the overall feel of the bike isnt excellent. The specifications are quite good, but for the price it doesnt feel like much thought has been put into it. Again, the gearing is very low end. But for a first time mountain biker you could do far worse than ... ...own bike from scratch you would obviously save quite a bit of money. I cant really reccomend any other entry level stock bikes either, since most at this price range seem to fail in the same areas. It really would be a good idea to build it from scratch if you could. ...

Gt Aggressor XC2 Grate ride
Advantages: good spec Disadvantages: tyres
This bike has a really good spec, XT rear mech excellent proformer the only thing that lets it down is the tyres they are a bit prone to punctures when used on road and are really only for off road use. i think that the forks are a bit on the heavy side but still work grate. for the price range would be hard to beat this spec. in my opinion the bike rides really well on cross country trails and is vary smooth and well balanced. i have used my bike ...
