The GREAT cannondale chase 2 2007

Advantages: nearly everything including the frame, forks, brakes, wheels and 1.5 big headset
Disadvantages: the shimano alivio front mech and the double chainrings on the front

I had owned an older model of the cannondale chase 2, i think it was the 2004 one and it was excellent, only flaw being the avid cable disc brakes which i had to upgrade. I had had this for a while and thought of getting a new bike so i looked at the cannondale range as i liked my old one so much. I saw the chase 2 2007 model and fell in love with it. Among the strengths is the chase hardtail frame which is chunky, made from cnc machined 6061 aluminium ...
...Also the ISGC BB is great as it give you a better ability to keep the chain on when used with a suitable chain guide and single ring at the front. The forks are an upgrade from the 2004 model. The 100mm Marzochi dirt jump 3s are slightly better than the manitou stance 100mm which used to rock bottom if used for jumps. Although these are better than the old ones it would be good to invest in an even better set of forks if you are half decent at jumping ...

Gt Aggressor XC2 Grate ride

Advantages: good spec
Disadvantages: tyres

This bike has a really good spec, XT rear mech excellent proformer the only thing that lets it down is the tyres they are a bit prone to punctures when used on road and are really only for off road use. i think that the forks are a bit on the heavy side but still work grate. for the price range would be hard to beat this spec. in my opinion the bike rides really well on cross country trails and is vary smooth and well balanced. i have used my bike ...

Don't Do IT To Yourself!!!

Advantages: under £100
Disadvantages: Too heavy, horridle comfort, poor value for money...do i really need to continue?

I bought this bike from halfords after reading some pretty good reviews....i now realise the people who wrote these reviews are either extremely unintelligent or are just playing an evil prank on you! Possibly the worst bike i have ever ridden! The first time i rode this bike it fell to pieces...within 5 mins the chain snapped, then the handlebars came loose, then the brakes failed whilst the saddle moved causing some extremely foul language and ...
...only recommend this bike to someone who has wronged me in the past! I don't mean to be too critical but i really feel that it is disgusting that products as poor and UNSAFE as this should be sold to the public!!! Hope this is useful to you! A Good Little Runner

Advantages: Good spec on bike, sturdy, mid range price, value for money

Excellent Bike

Advantages: Brakes are fantastic, really lightweight, very well made, overall great
