Specialized FSR XC 2007 Mountain bike

Advantages: Good mulit-tasking bike
Disadvantages: Only supplied with summer tyres and brake system is pain in the neck to service

...surfaces you can feel, etc. now although i rate this bike to be very good, and worth the money like all cycles it has its bad points. the brake system prooves a pain in the neck to bleed, re-fill, etc when your using the hayes bleeding kit, i found that the filling bottle kept braking and this resulted in brake fluid going everywhere! Review of Specialized Rockhopper Comp Disc

I love my Spesch!

Advantages: Solid Sturdy Frame, great feel, great looks.
Disadvantages: Front Suspension isn't the greatest

...I decided upon the Specialized Hardrock Sport and I have no complaints. Visually the bike looks great, when you have a closer look you can see that it is very well made, the frame and the welding look pretty sturdy to say the least. I know some of the components on the bike aren't the best and I was pre-warned about the front suspension being a bit suspect. The RST Gilla's aren't anything special, however they do the job for me so far at my level ...

I have ridden on other bikes with higher priced suspension though and I do agree that if you are into serious off-roading then you would need to upgrade the front fork. Review of Specialized Hardrock Sport

A good entry level dirt jump bike.

Advantages: Cheap, sturdy
Disadvantages: Poor gearing, unresponsive handling

My friend brought this bike a few months back and has kindly allowed me to review it. First off, its a budget dirt jump bike, so you get what you pay for. The gearing leaves a bit to be desired, and the overall feel of the bike isnt excellent. The specifications are quite good, but for the price it doesnt feel like much thought has been put into it. Again, the gearing is very low end. But for a first time mountain biker you could do far worse than ...

Gt Aggressor XC2 Grate ride

Advantages: good spec
Disadvantages: tyres

This bike has a really good spec, XT rear mech excellent proformer the only thing that lets it down is the tyres they are a bit prone to punctures when used on road and are really only for off road use. i think that the forks are a bit on the heavy side but still work grate. for the price range would be hard to beat this spec. in my opinion the bike rides really well on cross country trails and is vary smooth and well balanced. i have used my bike ...
