iancozens12
Advantages: Light frame
Disadvantages: Cost
I take a lot of interest in cycling and felt I needed a new bike and this is what I chose. The bike itself looks worse from further away but when you get close up all that money seems worth it. I then went off-road and found that the light frame made it so easy to cross the rough terrain and I was soon off on insane downhills, (nearly hit a bush at 30mph!). Then I came to the next set of obstacles which was a set of streams which had varying depth and different surfaces, and yet again the bike made light work of all of them. I would recommend trying out for size at a local bike shop before buying to ensure correct sizing. ...

Bombproof hardtail from Canada

bobbit139
Advantages: Robust build and a superb frame
Disadvantages: Average forks brakes and cranks. Also not the lightest
...the ride more than makes up for all of that. Kona have managed to make the handling agile and yet stable with good stand over clearance. Add to that good Canadian build quality with components that are built to last and good mud clearance and you cannot go wrong. ...
