State of the art filling and the highest quality fabric make this bag unbeatable in its class. The filling of the Firewalker is called Polar-Loft - a new, three-dimensional...
more...Silicone coated, hollow fibre, with much longer filaments than normally used in this type of bag. It therefore has a warmer performance, a smaller packsize, weighs less and has a longer life than many synthetics. Because of this, Firewalkers offer remarkable value for money. Features include: · Ultrasoft 270 RS nylon inner and outer for comfort and durability · Shingle construction for maximum overlap · Internal zip baffle and 3 piece comfort hood to reduce heat loss · 3D construction neck baffle ensures no cold spots · 'Shark's Toe'. The top of the bag is now 5cm longer than the base, allowing your feet to relax in the natural rest position thus maximising useable space and helping to eliminate cold spots. · Supplied with compression stuff sack to reduce pack size

Let start with the basics, I bought this virtually blind, seeing what looked good on web sites. and i bought a peach. It does exactly what it says on the tin (or bag). It is very light indeed packs down to the size of a rugby ball, It keeps me perfectly warm to just above freezing and i have bought a fleece liner which take me down to about 0. people without as much meant on their bnes as me might find they get colder a little earlier.

I have droped this in a river and within 6 hours of it being hung off my ruksac and hiking around it was perfectly dry, a 15-20 degree heat in a pleasent April day.

I have a slight rip in the interior, not sure how it occured, but easily stiched up, probably not the fault of the quality of the bag. the lining does not move around . You will need a good quality roll mat as it is very thin the the cold easily transfers from the ground sheet, into you.

A good practical buy, quite simple, good make and keeps you warm
