Advantages: better distance and accuracy Disadvantages: slightly expensive
...I have been playing golf for about 6 years and recently swapped my Wilson Prostaff graphite irons for a new set of Wilson Fat Shaft Hyper Carbon Irons.
My playing handicap is 17 and being female, struggle to get any distance with my iron shots, however I believe that is all about to change.
The Wilson Fat Shafttechnology, I believe has the right idea for these clubs. With club head sizes increasing over the years, it makes sense to increase the shaft diameter producing less torque which means less twisting which means greater accuracy.
A fatter shaft results in significanlty larger tip diameter, depending on the type of clubs.
Iron's tip diameter is, .500", Hyper Carbon Graphites .535" (compared to the standard .370")and with the woods, .480" (compared to standard .335")
Wilson states - "The ultimate Club head stability producing...

Advantages: Fantastic looks, great forgiveness, good distance Disadvantages: Not exactly traditional!
...based around improving on the difficulties that players have with long irons and aims to improve upon their forgivness on off-centre hits, playability and their launch angle (the angle at which the ball leaves the club face). The launch angle has been improved (increased) by incorporating brand new ETF (Energy Transfer Frame) technology which creates an area of resistance behind the clubface as the ball is struck, directing more energy in a forward direction. Creating a lower centre of gravity has also helped hybrid clubs to achieve this. Meanwhile, the forgivness of the club is improved by its low profile and thinner face. As you can see Wilson Staff have created a series of hybrid clubs that on release in 2006 were bang up to date with all of the latest "tour" technology which has got to be easier to use than that straight-faced old 3-iron...

Advantages: Weight movable technology Disadvantages: Not for the beginner
...It was about time that I upgraded some of my golf equipment, well it all needs to be up graded myself included. If you play the game you may know what I mean.
First up was to be a shinny new driver. I looked around for quite sometime checking out all the new stuff and finally I made my choice.
Taylormade Golf equipment was going to be the clubs for me.
The R7 Super quad was just the weapon.
I picked up the 10.5° degrees of loft with a regular shaft and I must as it was light after the old driver. But boy did it go I have been about thirty yards longer every time.
However have not always been straight but that would be me and not the club.
This club has weight movement technology which is all good fun and it works. Set the club up for a high draw and that is what you will get.
Technical Bit
The driver comes in all black with an anti...

I bought these after I borrowed them from a friend and found they straightened my (at the time LONG) hair in 10 minutes... It took me an hour (not exaggerating) with the straighteners I had at the time.
I wouldn't recommend actually using them on wet more
