Advantages: Simple to use, very durable, looks and feels great Disadvantages: Dont lose the string!
The Powerball 250HZ Blue is one of the most compact, simple, and fun machines I’ve used throughout most of my life. I first saw it when a friend was using it and realised after having a go that it was just so much fun! The Powerball does not only just rotate and spin giving you a good workout, it can record the maximum number of revolutions a minute to give you a personal best to keep aiming to top, to a strength measurer! Learning to use it took ... ...hard and begin rotating. But as you may know, or possibly will know, the ball does require a little bit of technique to hit the high revolutions like spinning it in the right direction at the right time and speed, but all this you work out for yourself through feel, and time. Its hard work and not for the lazy (a bit like me) but don’t give up if your non-normal arm can spin this for a maximum of 10 seconds, you will build up your stamina. A few ...
Advantages: Can improve weak muscles Disadvantages: can ruin old ones like mine lol
...small but adequate range of Powerball stuff. I opted for the Blue 250hz Neon Pro at £9.99 which if nothing else sounded quite impressive. At this point I had no idea what 250hz meant with regard to a Powerball, I reckoned blue Neon might be a blue light, which sounded pretty.
It arrived swiftly and well within the specified time limit, which was displayed in my tracking info, I was perhaps expecting a ball a bit bigger, but it is about 3-4 inches ... ...the general idea behind the Powerball craze. The craze to be truthful has died down significantly but there are still many uninjured using this as an aid to recovery of broken wrists. Inside the Powerball there is a powerful gyro, which when set into motion generates electricity and powers the bright blue LED’s, the faster the gyro goes the brighter the LED’s. To set the gyro in motion you have to manoeuvre your wrist in such a fashion that you can ...
Advantages: Cheap, addictive and actually works Disadvantages: Can break easily if dropped and is loud when spun quickly
This was the first powerball i purchased and i found it to be very good. i was a little sceptical about it but after a few days of using the product for about an hour a day, a little bit at a time, the product did what it said on the tin and improved strength in both arms. This gave more definition to both arms and improved my squash playing, climbing and guitar playing.
Overall i have found this product to be very good and oddly addictive.
One ... ...with has the rpm counter incorporated as this adds an extra bit of fun to the product and can also help you in tracking progress.
The only problems i encountered was that after a while it started to squeak when i was spinning it at low speeds, but this went away after i sped it up a bit.
One last comment, when spun quickly the powerball can become quite loud and get quite annoying as i found when doing it once in front of the tv. ...
Advantages: Strengthens your arm and is good fun Disadvantages: Can rub on your fingers. Loud
The powerball 250ghz gyro is a great exercise tool for strengthening, toning or rehabilitating your wrist, forearms, upper arm and shoulder. The gyroscopic motion is solely decided by yourself so you can choose whether to do slow rehabilitation excercises after an injury or a muslce pumping workout with speeds of 16000rpm and higher. The high force of the gyro really causes the ball to sling some momentum from side to side so you really need to grip ... ...one of the rules not to do as the heavy motor damages the casing which is a little inconvenient considering it tends to squirm uncontrollably. When using mine for a long period of time, I have found that it really has pumped my forearm muscles, however- the motion can cause the outer casing to rub on your fingers which are like small blisters but this is down to the way you hold it and in general, the ball is quite comfy in your hand. One other downside ...
Advantages: tones the bum&thigh area, fits easily under jeans Disadvantages: small pads repeatedly curl and stick together
...until I started using the Slendertone Bum and Thigh (BT) shorts. The day after using these shorts I could certainly feel where these muscles were located! I've only had these shorts a few days, but I bought these shorts as an accompaniment to the Flex Max belt, and as promised in my FM review, here are my first impressions of the BT shorts.
For those who aren't aware of Slendertone or the EMS craze, then I will briefly bring you up to speed. EMS ... ...your muscles. As with all Slendertone products, because the unit remembers your sessions and the levels you are at; it is not advisable to share the shorts with anyone else as they could be started at a level that is too high for their muscles.
So now all the technical stuff to one side, it's personal opinion time! Aside from the pad issues to begin with, I'm thoroughly impressed with these shorts. They are both sporty in design and fit, and I am ...
