Advantages: Well designed Disadvantages: on the expensive side
...Humm, haven’t been around Ciao much recently mainly due to the fact I’ve been spending as much time as possible in Newquay, in the surf. Seeing as Newquay’s a 6-hour drive from my computer, it’s kind of understandable. Anyway where is this leading, a review on Newquay, um no, I can’t be bothered to discuss the pros and cons of an entire town, at least not today. So I’ll share my thoughts on my board, a 7 foot 6 Hawaiian Island Creations Mini-mal.
Now bear with me, this is new ground in reviewing as there are no surfboard reviews up here yet (just a couple of body board reviews), so I have nothing to work with.

Advantages: Competative price/durable Disadvantages: Can be quite cold in winter.
...as there is alot of competition espicially around newquay area. I have often got 10-15% discounts. If you look like you know what your talking about and take everything they say with a pince of salt you will hopefully come out with a surfboard rather than a canoe....

...Several years ago, I reluctantly ventured along to a local aerobic’s class with a couple of work colleagues, under duress I might add, to tone up my office-bound backside and, hopefully, develop thighs like a peach rather than the surface of some uninhabitable planet.
Upon arrival, I had a quick scan around the hall to weigh up my fellow victims. There were the usual token stick insects without a trace of cellulite and with tanned limbs as smooth and firm as a polished surfboard. I decided that they must have been paid to take part by the instructor as an advert for these brutal sessions. “This is what you’ll look like if you attend every class (for fifteen years and can afford regular sunbed sessions and anti-cellulite treatments.”)

I realised just what my family think of me when I received this can opener as a gift. Admittedly, my old can opener had expired some months before and I could be heard moaning about having to use a manual can opener, but I did not expect to receive this... more
