Well, This product was a result of an over active shopping addiction moment mixed with a get fit attitude.
Ive suffered lots of injured muscles due to over using the powerball and pushing myself too far, but I still cant put it down!
My muscles have defiently strengthened but not grown!, so if your looking for a muscle builder Look away now!, If your looking for something to tone and strengthen then honestly its worth the money.
Its fun to play and im often competeing with my nephew who is determind to beat my score (Keep dreaming!) excellent product.
but I must mention they are easily breakable, DO NOT DROP! its hard not to when its slowing down can be abit difficuly to get a good grip on it, but concentrate and you wont drop it, trick is to grab it with both hands as soon as you have a good grip when its slowing as it does shake.
but due to this you also develope a good grip.
Also abit of a pain to get started on your first try, think of it as starting a motor boat you have the string and you got to pull it at the right speed then immediatly start spinning the powerball, not to fast at first but not too slow.
I got the hang of it after a couple of trys and im normally pretty slow at getting things to work.
I highly suggest you get this even if its just to mess around with.
WARNING! do not touch the spinning ball inside when its spinning at high speeds, I swapped hands at one point and accidently grabbed the wrong part of the ball and had the spinning ball on my palm, quite amazed i didnt drop it but my palm hurt for awhile.
Advantages: Cheap and fun Disadvantages: none so far
Well have had this gadget for a few months now and am still using it regularly. Once you have got the hang of starting it, either with your thumb or the string provided, it can be quite an enjoying workout, using it for 10 minutes you will start to feel your arms aching so you know its working.
The powerball requires no batteries and is completely powered by the user. By a rythmical movement of the wrist the internal gyroscope is spun, which can ... ...the world record being about 16000 rpm.
As this is a neon powerball one the interal gyroscope is spinning at about 3000 rpm the internal LEDs start to light up, and every 1000 rpm faster it goes another one lights up. Personally i would recommend buying one which has the display attached to it, which shows your high score amongst other things. This is also very good for motivation, as you are always trying to improve your score. Also if a friend ...

Advantages: Addictive, fun and not exhausting form of muscle training. Disadvantages: Takes a little while to get used to
Considering the amount that we use our arms this product is very usefull in building up hand and forearm muscle. Not only that but the product is also fun. It becomes addictive trying to beat your high score and your friends high score. The various settings which count the amount of revelations the ball makes mean it is easy to monitor your progress. There is a learning curve to get to grips with using the product as you need to learn how to spin ... ...the momentum going. This is ideal for sports enthusiasts such as tennis and golf players or musicians such as drummers or even for physio work on the arm shoulder or wrist. Being a tennis player i feel it gives my forehand especially that extra bit of power! A great value buy. ...
