This is an extremely useful piece of kit, I originally purchased it to use for Geocaching but now use it as a pedometer as well, its great for parking up in the countryside and setting your car as a waypoint, you can then wander around knowing you'll always be able to get back to the car. You can store quite a few waypoints, but you are limited in the length of labels you put on them. The GPS is really light and is supposedly waterproof, but I won't test it! You can of course input them manually. My advice is to read the manual carefully as it may not be the most obvious piece of kit to use.
