After owning my cheap kit for long enoguh As with most cricketers, I wanted a bat that looked good, with nice stickers!
Choosing:
They had a huge choice of bats there, as they do today, but my then-untrained eye was just looking for something fairly cheap. Nick, being the top guy he is, picked me out what I can now recognise as a BEAUTY of a 'sub-standard bat'. Emphasis on the inverted commas... The reason for the sub-standard label, and therefore the discounted price, was a miniature, maybe 5mm 'dent' in the back of the bat, up near the shoulder.
Looks:
As for looks, it is stunning. The eye catching stickers, look great with the timeless traditional Newbery crest and ribbon, and all in all, I love it!
Performance:
I don't really remember much about how it went when I first got it etc., so I'm gonna go mainly on how ...
MY REVIEW OF MY REMFRY CRICKET EQUIPMENT
Got my new Remfry kit today and its lush.
Anyway here is my review on my new Remfry kit -
Ordering/Communication:I spoke over the phone to Steve about ordering an inner and outer thing guard on about the 3rd of June, and he is a top bloke (just watch the time difference when calling, as the only time English people can call is early in the morning). Had a good chat to him about the ordering process and his products (I was chasing a inner and outer thighguard), which are obviously the best of its kind in the world (Ricky Ponting and pretty much the entire Aussie team to name just a few!) and Steve proudly admits this - when I asked if he was still doing Remfry products his response was "certainly am, the best protective equipment in the world"

Background
On Guard is a French made film that was adapted for film from the book titled Le Bossu, (The Hunchback) by the author Paul Feval. On Guard was released in 2004 and is your swashbuckling style movie in the vein of all those classic Musketeer movies or The Count of Monte Christo. Being made in France the film On Guard is in French language with English subtitles. This gem of a film is filled to the brim with conspiracy, action, retribution, love, and passion with a healthy layer of wit to top it all off. However, for me what this film has in such abundance is simply that it is such great fun.
