into the mountains; it is quite breathtaking, a true Kodak (Epson, Nikon, Olympus, Sony and Nokia) moment.
If you?re not into touristy things, the mountain range does offer plenty of opportunity for a walk in the hills (I speak from enforced experience). The Club Vosgien have very kindly put signs all over the paths so you can follow circular tours and not get lost, but your best bet would be to get a Guide book from a local hypermarket, as they will be much more detailed. Be sure to try the walk to the Nideck waterfalls, or maybe a stroll to an Auberge for a Backeoffe (try it, I won?t spoil the, uh? surprise!).
All the aforementioned in this section are summer activities, so should you suffer the silliness of coming in the winter, we need to figure out what to do with you!
