After owning Nike Mercurial Vapours for the past season, I decided it was time for a change, and decided to purchase the Nike Air Legend 2 SG football boots, which I have come to conclude are a much comfier and sturdy alternative. Contrasting to the quite flimsy alternatives in the market at the moment, the Legends provide a solid, cushioned effect, within a deceivingly light outsole. These boots have been truly reliable, comfortable for the duration of my last full footballing season, and should continue to be so as I wear them in the following season too. They feel great to play in, make striking the ball extremely easy, and most importantly allow the player a great feel of the ball throughout the whole game, whilst offering, in my opinion, a quite excellent level of protection. Nike Mercurial Veloci Firm Ground Breaking Football Boots

Advantages: High standard, great value, comfortable and made by Nike

Review of Nike Mercurial Veloci Firm Ground Football Boots

What a Boot!!!

Advantages: Comfy, good control, stylish look!
Disadvantages: Not good on muddy pitches

Nike Air Zoom Total 90's are by far the best pair of boot's I've ever had. The comfort is unbelievable, they mould to your feet within a week of getting them. You also get very good control with there unique tongue system over the laces. I've played with most of the classic boots over the years but this is the bets by some way, shown by such quality players as Figo, Scholes, Rooney and Reyes (okay Reyes isn't that quality!). Although they look good Nike haven't over done it this time and they still look like a football boot and not something out of a futuristic film. They are also quite a wide boot (like most of Nike's) for those of us with fatter feet. I would definitely recommend these although like all firm ground boots not great on the muddy mid January pitches. ...
