Nike Air Shin pads
These have got everything along with a big price tag

I have worn many shin pads in my time as I play for a local Saturday club. You wouldn't believe it but shin pads are massive part of the game. It is crucial you have sufficient shin pads on while playing a competitive match, well the referee wont let you play with out them any way. The shins are one of the most painful places to get hurt. Shin pads really will stop any damage being made to your shin immediately. If you play football down the park with your mates, without pads on, you will soon see the consequences when those big bruises come up.

I buy different shin pads every year, as you can only have a pair for a certain amount of time before they get ripped, smelly, broken or just plain old. So come the new season I am in the shops looking at the latest shin pads. I always come to a decision on which ones I am going to get to last me the season. But this year was different, I left it late and had things to do so I got my dad to purchase me some pads for the season. When he came home with them I found out he bought me 'Nike Air Shin Guards', he said he didn't know which ones to get but surely you can't go wrong with the most expensive ones, and he was right.

Throughout the season I had these there was never a problem in the slightest. The guard is rock hard so you don't even feel the harder challenges. One thing I have always needed for shin pads is good comfort, well these are comfortable, but after a while by the time you're taking them off, you get marks on your skin from where the guard has been pressing hard on to you for. While running around you also get very hot, so by the time you are ready to take these off it might be a very sweaty situation.

These Nike Air Shin Guards look really good, although that's not surprising coming from Nike. You can get them in many different colours the ones I have got are the red and silver ones. They look impressive and would embarrass Umbro shin pads for the looks. The shiny material used on these pads are often notice even through socks so I might look a bit silly in some cases, but you cant have it all your way.

The guard really are rock hard, I doubt I could do any damage to them with a hammer! It's a special material which is really light but is also really hard to get through and any way what kind of challenge would be as hard as a hammer. Throughout a season I never felt one thing around my shin. I normally do, that's the reason I am going to purchase these next year as I have full faith in them

During game play you won't feel them on your legs they are that light. The tightness can be made very tight or very loose depending on what the consumers prefers. I have had some shin pads where it is always the same tightness, so that was a step up when I bought these. They are really comfortable as I said but the longer you wear them the more likely you will want them off but that is like every shin pad.

I would defiantly recommend these to any football players, there are 3 specials things shin pads need…
Comfort-For shin pad they are extremely comfortable.
Guard-Your legs will be fully protected with this hard defence system
Weight- These feel weightless on your feet while you are playing.
Also a little less important the looks. These are the best looking shin pads I have ever seen, and if you want to look good these are the ones to buy

So join me and buy these they are almost perfect, there hasn't ever been a perfect shin pad, but for the time being I am more than happy to settle with there.

Comfort - 4/5
Guard - 5/5
Weight - 4/5
Looks - 4/5
Price - 3/5

So overall I would say 4/5
