With arsenal bringing out their classic clarret home shirt to commemerate 100years at highbury, it is only fair to bring back another clssic colour away shirt. Yellow!
The shirt has a suttle two-tone yellow striped theme whih can only be noticed when up close. the badge has now been moved to the centre of the shirt, with the crest and the sponsor O2 being the centre piece of the shirt.The O2 is not made of a soft 'suede' material on this one. It is a sort of PVC style, the same as when you have names printed on shirts. The new nike emblem has been made bigger to capture the eye, and is stitched very well onto the shirt in black cotton.
I must say the shirt is very comfortable, with a nice free-feel next to the skin. I noticed something when putting it on for the first time. The shirt's stitching is rather stiff, and does not have as much moneuverability as previous shirts. I think the shirt is made from a more static material from the previous lycra shirts. However, this does make the shirt a more durable shirt. Mine has had a few tugs and pulls and has not stretched or torn whatsoever.
Value for money : I paid £35 for my shirt, which was )give or take) £5 cheaper than other football shirts.
Overall, a very nice addition to the arsenal fan's shirts. A memorable shirt that can be taken to Ashburton Grove this coming season! Recmommended for those die hard fans!
