Advantages: Great for all ages and handicaps Disadvantages: don't get a sand iron
...Well, last year a set of Slingshot irons were selling at around £399 for a 3 iron to Pitch wedge. I bought my son a set of these from American Golf. The irons are very well made and have lovely grips. each iron has a little 'bridge' over the cavity and make a 'swoosh' when you swing them, its a great sound, and I can see why they are called Slingshot. previous to the Slingshot irons my son had Macgregor DX and the Nike were a very good buy. My son's handicap came down 4 shots within a month and he does hit these irons straight and long, there is so much confidence in each iron, right down to the 3. I don't have my 3 or 4 iron in my bag but my son who is 16 really does hit them well. The only downfall is that there isn't a sand iron in the set, and it would have made better sense to add a sand and taken away the 3, as most people don...

Advantages: Good material, available cheaper now. Disadvantages: Out of date for 08/09 season.
...A tribute shirt to the European Cup winning Lisbon Lions of 1967, and a shirt that I love. Probably my favourite set of 'the hoops' I have owned.
Made from a stronger, better quality material than Nike used for the previous home shirt. Better shade of green than the previous effort aswell.
Bottom right of the shirt as in the picture is stitching which says "It's a grand old team to play for". A nice touch. The badge is encircled by embroidery which is in Portuguese about the Lisbon Lions 40 th anniversairy.
It is important to bear in mind that since this shirt is to commemorate the 1966/67 season victory, it will only be in use by the Celtic first team for the 2007/08 season. However this has benefits as the shirt is now available for around £10 if you shop around.
All in all a great effort from Nike....

Advantages: Light, stylish Disadvantages: not the strongest of boots, slightly uncomfortable
...these boots are aimed at the highre end of the market - they do offer slight take down versions such as the talaria, which are pretty similar and unless you are playing at a high level, dare I say you could hardly tell the difference!
Comfort...
I must admit I found these boots rubbed slightly against my heel but I suppose that varies from person to person and the newer version of this boot has been adapted to cope with any rubbing or blistering.
Other Features?
This boot does feature the snap stud system, unique to the nike boots. This means that the length of the stud, can be changed by the player with a key in a matter of seconds - ideal for different surface conditions!
Disadvantages?
Well the boot is not suited for really hitting the ball from a set piece - in my opinion I find it harder to strike the ball quite as well...
