Advantages: Great for all ages and handicaps Disadvantages: don't get a sand iron

You can buy a set of Slingshot irons these days for around £200 now from many online golf stores, the steel shaft ones are the ones my son has and he certainly likes steel shafts better than the graphite shafts of the DX. Slingshot are a little heavier but very well weighted and have a generous sweet spot.
If you are a mid to high handicapper give them a try at your local pro shop, you won't be dissapointed. Lovely irons and very well made. My son's are nearly a year old now and still shiney and no marks or bits of rust showing. Nike certainly know how to make golf clubs....

Advantages: Great feel and creativity Disadvantages: American so include no SW

The first brand that I came across was the Nike Slingshot Irons but at the time these were slightly above my price range at over £500 (I was looking to spend £300-£400). Next I was taken by some Wilson clubs...
