These balls are a significant improvement on the Nike One. Only recommended for serious golfers with single figure handicaps. If you are looking for a distance go for the Nike Black, or a similar ball such as the Pro V1x, but for those players who place a higher emphasis on feel and spin control then the Gold is for you. Lovely for all those shots inside 100 yards, very consistent so you know exactly how the ball is going to react. The Nike Gold is similar to the Callaway HX Tour Black, but offers slightly more spin and slightly less distance. If you like to draw and fade the ball, it allows you to manipulate the flight with ease. This ball is perfect for the low handicapped player who places more emphasis on control than distance. The price is very similar to other premium brands such as the Pro V1 and HX tour, so I recommend you try these for a few rounds before committing yourself. The balls are highly available in any decent pro-shop and will be an asset to any serious golfer.
