Nike Golf OZ Black T100 Mallet

Advantages: Very very long
Disadvantages: expensive to lose

...I tried a Nike Golf Nike One Black Golf Ball in a match play knockout yesterday, I play off 21 and my opponant was off 12 so granted i did have a few shot in hand. I have never used a Nike one black (the ball is white however) but was very impressed with the result. I found the ball which has a thin urethene cover and a enanced 408 dimples very long to hit, Longer than my usual PTS Solo golf balls. I was very impressed with the length and how straight it flew in the air. Off the tee I only missed two fairways but the length was very impressive. I won my game 3 and 2 and to be honest I didn't really need the shots. Really though i found the combination of the balls and my Ping G2 driver excellent. on the greens my ball did truely roll further and felt very nice to hit. ...Normally i play with the Titilist PV1 But when i was in my proshop the otherday I looked and saw that the Nike One Black was the same price as the titilist so i bought a pack of three and tookm them out with me to give them a round. I play off 18 and i loose a fair few balls on the course. However i was highly suprised when after 18 I still had all three Nike balls. I found they were very good distance hitters and they made a great sound off the face of my driver. I like to spinn my ball onto the green nearest to flag flag as I can. With these balls i found that quite easy to do. As for the price they are truely worth the price because i bought three and here i am 2 weeks later and i still have all three. Easy to control balls with a nice satisfing NIKE tick on them. I use these now more than the PV 1's... Read review

...These balls are a significant improvement on the Nike One. Only recommended for serious golfers with single figure handicaps. If you are looking for a distance go for the Nike Black, or a similar ball such as the Pro V1x, but for those players who place a higher emphasis on feel and spin control then the Gold is for you. Lovely for all those shots inside 100 yards, very consistent so you know exactly how the ball is going to react. The Nike Gold is similar to the Callaway HX Tour Black, but offers slightly more spin and slightly less distance. If you like to draw and fade the ball, it allows you to manipulate the flight with ease. This ball is perfect for the low handicapped player who places more emphasis on control than distance. The price is very similar to other premium brands such as the Pro V1 and HX tour, so I recommend you try... Read review
