I could tell only a few days after I got them from a friend that these were the real deal. They easily added distance and accuracy to my game, and for that alone I was satisfied. On the negative side, I cannot really find any gaping disadvantages to these clubs. I was completely satisfied with them, as they served ... ...and used. These irons obviously aren't going to be your top end pro irons, but for the casual golfer or for someone who gets out a handful amount of times in a month, like myself, these are perfect.
