Nike Mexico Home Football Shirt

Advantages: Back To Tradition
Disadvantages: Fairly plain

...What better way was there to welcome arsenal to their new home of the emirates stadium than by reverting last seasons cherry coloured shirt back to our traditional colours of bright red and white with a little gold stripe down the side. The shirt itself is covered in little spheres which are part of Nike's Sphere dry system, designed to wick away sweat in an instant thus keeping hte body cool and from becoming to sticky on a hot summers day. The layout of the shirt is fairly plain with simply the arsenal crest, the nike logo and our new sponsors Fly emirates placed across the middle of the shirt . Yes is has truly been a pleasure watching arsenal play in their traditional colours again this season and i look forward to seeing them in this shirt again next time around... Read review

Advantages: Good material, available cheaper now.
Disadvantages: Out of date for 08/09 season.

...A tribute shirt to the European Cup winning Lisbon Lions of 1967, and a shirt that I love. Probably my favourite set of 'the hoops' I have owned. Made from a stronger, better quality material than Nike used for the previous home shirt. Better shade of green than the previous effort aswell. Bottom right of the shirt as in the picture is stitching which says "It's a grand old team to play for". A nice touch. The badge is encircled by embroidery which is in Portuguese about the Lisbon Lions 40 th anniversairy. It is important to bear in mind that since this shirt is to commemorate the 1966/67 season victory, it will only be in use by the Celtic first team for the 2007/08 season. However this has benefits as the shirt is now available for around £10 if you shop around. All in all a great effort from Nike.... Read review

Advantages: looks good and looks expensive
Disadvantages: colour does not match with everything

...In my opinion arsenal are the best team in the world and are going to do so well next season.Their home kit is outstanding and it brings pride to us as supporters.It can be worn as fashion as well as when your playing football.its a symbol when we wear it to show people we support the greatest team !!!! It stays in good condition for a long time and does'nt loose colour easily.I am proud to be a arsenal supporter as well as wearing their shirts !!!!!! .The colours on their shirt match well which is a very good thing.I am a great fan of nike so having that tick on their shirt is good and it does not only make it llook good but expensive as well....
