Advantages: Good Product, well known brand wicks sweat away well Disadvantages: Possibly the price depending where you buy from
Hi there primarily Im interested in the Martial arts and boxing but as a by product Ive always run/jogged to gain and maintain fitness.
Normally Id been just wearing your run of the Mill cotton style T-shirt when running however you end up drenched in sweat (well at least I do) and since Ive been running in the winter you very quickly get chilled.
On the advice of a friend whos more heavily into running then me I investigated several of these T-shirts that are meant to wick away sweat, evenually I decided on a Nike Dri-Fit T-shirt mine is white with the Nike tick and some trims in a reflective type material (useful for improved visability at night).
Nike is a well known brand and over the years Ive had a number of Nike products all of which have been of a decent quality and lasted well.
After several runs I can say this product does ...
Advantages: Good material, available cheaper now. Disadvantages: Out of date for 08/09 season.
A tribute shirt to the European Cup winning Lisbon Lions of 1967, and a shirt that I love. Probably my favourite set of 'the hoops' I have owned.
Made from a stronger, better quality material than Nike used for the previous home shirt. Better shade of green than the previous effort aswell.
Bottom right of the shirt as in the picture is stitching which says "It's a grand old team to play for". A nice touch. The badge is encircled by embroidery which is in Portuguese about the Lisbon Lions 40 th anniversairy.
It is important to bear in mind that since this shirt is to commemorate the 1966/67 season victory, it will only be in use by the Celtic first team for the 2007/08 season. However this has benefits as the shirt is now available for around £10 if you shop around.
All in all a great effort from Nike. ...
Advantages: Good material, different design from recent other away shirts Disadvantages: Maybe a bit on the plain side
Celtic away shirt which reminds of the shirt worn by Henrik Larsson when he scored in his last ever Scottish Cup final for Celtic.
All in all a very good shirt made from a durable material which is comfortable to wear. The stitching around the badge is embroidery which is in Portuguese and remembers the Lisbon Lions famous European Cup victory over Inter Milan in the 1967 final in Lisbon.
The bottom right of the picture is stitching which reads "It's a grand old team to play for" as sung by Celtic fans to this day, and in the tunnel of the Estadio Nacional pre-match in 1967.
The material is the same, as far as I'm aware, as used on the home shirt for the 07/08 season.
A reccomended top! ...
