Onto the Nike Tiempo. These were my first choice a short while back as they look very sturdy and they are so comfortable that during the 90mins you cannot even feel them as they are as light as paper. Sostrength and comfort, I`ll give them marks of 4/5 strength and 5/5 for comfort.

Shinpads are a vital piece of equipment when it comes to football. From the world cup down to the Preston Sunday League Division Four. All players must wear Shinpads.
The main reason for this equipment is it hurts when you get kicked in the shin as the shin is made of two bones (tibia and fibula) and they have only skin for protection. So no real protectection. They also break pretty easyly so the shin pad provides massive protection for this tender part of the body.
Anybody who sees the likes of Steven Gerrard lunging in with two feet and Mo Sissoko aswell as Michael Essien and of course the famous Roy Keane can see the need for a suit of armour although this would not be practical so the shin pad is the most comfortable padding available.

The only way they will break is by being booted by an opponent and believe me this happens at a lower level very often. If they do break however, no problem, at just £6 for the pair just pop to the shops and buy some more as they are well worth it. By the way they don`t break very often! The guard is like a rock and the gasp can be heard as I get booted and they make a bang, but I didn`t feel a thing and just pick my self up and tell the ref to book the dirty **** and usually get booked myself for dissent but my shin is still in one piece so who care about a booking.
I personally replace them at the beginning of every season as you don`t know what damage may have occured throughout a 40 game season. Aswell as this they stink after a season, usually by Christmas but I think one change a year will do but remember to change your underwear at least every game!
The colours of these georgeous pads are usually like a shiny navy and sky blue, Forest green and lime or the pair i got are red and orange and look stunning but then the damn ref makes me pull my socks up over them and hide the beauty. But they look nice on the shelf and in my kit bag!
I strongly recommend a good shin pad for all players from ages 6-60 and world cup players to division 4 on the park! And the Nike Tiempo are the ones to buy!

...ever so soft. The custom nike pattern gives it a fashionable design.
Nike Tiempo Legend are used by 9% Premier League Players. This boot is great for soft ground and this is seen by the amount of footballers who wear it.
I had these shoes last season and they are still in mint condition which show quality is a must as with most Nike products. I normally go for the coveted 3 striped but this was an eye catching yet basic design i thoroughly enjoyed ...

...more in the modern day nike boots. I gotta say in defense of them though that the design is nice and they are extremely light. But maybe as my story proves that isnt such a good thing. If you are a real footballer who likes to play alot and not just against mates but competitively then i would not recommend these boots. Sure they look nice but if they dont prevent injury then it doesnt matter how they look. Save some money and get the old school ...

Quick review of Nike Tiempo
I purchased this shoe because I have always wore Nike shoes when playing sports. I tried the others brands, but they never fit right. This shoe fits very well, and hold up fairly well for everyday practice and play for high school soccer. These boots give you a great first touch for when the football is played at you meaning you can have the defenders guessing all game. ...

Advantages: Stunning looks, very comfortable. Disadvantages: Very poor grip
Since being young I have been borderline obsessed with goalkeeper gloves. In my late teens and early 20's I was buying up to 8 pairs of gloves a season. Outrageous, yes maybe, but I was hooked with the feel and optimism that a new pair of gloves would bring. My mates bought boots by the, er, boot load, I however always opted for gloves.
Imagine then my disappointment with this purchase. They look the absolute part, having an excellent colour scheme and that massive Nike tick, reassurance usually of a well-made product. I fell for these gloves immediately and parted with something in the region of £65 for them. I had made a mistake.
The main problem with these gloves is the foam. 4mm latex palms are what you would expect from professional quality gloves, but by my own admission the SGT technology was an intriguing concept ...
Advantages: A comfortable, durable football boot Disadvantages: A little clumsy
The NikeTiempo Pro SG is a lightweight boot designed for durability and comfort. It is indeed very comfortable when worn and has lasted me many Saturday afternoons! The Tiempo Pro SG is relatively cheap and can be found at between £15-£30 second hand.
The boot is made from "full grain leather with a Duraplush collar lining" which does give the boot a comfortable feel.
The SG is to be used on soft surfaces but it does have interchangeable studs and if your are playing on different surfaces then the corresponding studs can be purchased from most sports shops. The boot does have good control, although as I talk of later, it is a little clumsy looking.
The boot also has a forefoot lip which enhances durability and can be tucked over the laces. The boot's only negative that I have found, is that compared to the new generation ...
