Advantages: Extra distance with the driver. Excellent control and spin. Well priced high performance golf ball for the average golfer. Disadvantages: Meaningless advertising.

The Titleist Pro V is without doubt the premier golf ball available at present in the retail sector, and it's the ball I used myself up until about two months ago when I changed to the ball that is the subject of this review; the Srixon Soft Feel.
Now I can guess what you're asking yourself. If I'm a serious golfer (which I am) and the Titleist Pro V is the best ball currently available, then why change?
Well, the Pro V suits a lot of golfer's games like a proverbial glove. The only problem with it is that like all golf balls used by professional golfers, it's designed to perform best when it's being used by a golfer with a very fast swing speed. A player's swing speed is the rate the golf club head is travelling at when it actually makes contact with the ball, and is obviously one of the main determining factors in how far the ball will actually...

Advantages: Great name in golf balls Disadvantages: Not really for high handicappers
...the new titleist ball felt like a Pro V1, and i try not to use those either because they are too soft for me and don't travel like the Solo PTS. I felt the Pro V1 X wasn't the ball for a high handicapper who is happy busting 90 gross each week, I would imagine the ball is really for a low to scratch handicapper who knows all the fundimental rules of hitting a ball, and getting it into the dustbin lid zone on the green. I think the price of a dozen reflects that also, at around £30 a dozen can a high handicapper afford to waste such a gracefull dotted ball in the trees, in someones garden and on the main road, i don't think so.
off the tee i found this ball shorter than my usual golf ball, I'm not sure about the control as i tend to hit straight off the tee anyway, I found no back spin and no sudden stops the ball wasn't effective for me...

Advantages: Relativley Cheap, 6mm latex Disadvantages: Useless in wet weather
...overall an average pair of keeper gloves from a usually top notch company.
I have had uhlsport gloves in the past which have been excellent as well as having a reasonable life span. When i saw the pro special i thought I'd give them a try. I purchased them in black, white and orange although i think they are available in other colour schemes. They have the usual 6mm soft latex palms and 3D backhand technology which apparantly flexes with your hand.
Unlike other keepers gloves that contain finger support or anatomically moulded in the shape of your hands, this glove has nothing. They are very flat and plain.
The gloves were ok until the palms began to age, these were brought back to life with a quick hand wash. After a while though general wear and tear crept in and the gloves were past rescuing. The grip in the palm began...

*****Background and buying*****
On and off for the last year I have been considering buying myself an epilator. There are reasons both for and against them in my eyes and the prospect of pain was my main reservation!
